Onsite Wedding Photo

Our dear onsite wedding photo never fails to make me smile. My hubby and I are very proud of ourselves to have chosen this song. It's not the usual song that couples choose (as most opt for soothing music or the current #1 song in the charts). But, we certainly fell in love with it the first time we heard it.

Hope you enjoy this as much as we did!

Loving Monique Lhuillier Gowns

Monique Lhuillier collection of gowns are definitely one of the best. Intricate embroidery and high-fashioned fabrics embodies her work of art.

These are some of my most-loved ML bridal gowns.

From the Fall 2010 Bridal collection. It's all about a Fairytale Winter Wedding.
I love the top, with all the flowers, embroidery, and laces. And the satin-like belt is a great highlight as well.

From the new collection of bridal gowns - BLISS. It's an ivory lace strapless, drop waist bodice with organza hand-tufted skirt. I love how the skirt feels so cloudy and comfy. It almost feels so light and fresh.

Finally, a chic bridal gown from Monique's Spring 2009 collection. The top is a pistachio embellished re-embroidered lace corset, while the skirt is a pistachio silk gazar hand-tufted skirt with self sash.

My Uber-beautiful Gown by Merlene Marcelo

It was the perfect gown for me.

My budget was 15k for a bridal gown. Yup. (I know I'm not in Divisoria, haha!) My couture, Merlene Marcelo, can't possibly work on that budget coz it's ultra cheap. I told her I prefer minimal beadwork. Truth is it'll make my gown so pricey. So, she suggested I'll use french lace instead. And she can put some beadwork on it to make the laces stand out. My gown isn't 15k but the price is fairly good enough for me.

Anyways, I love, love the concept she presented. Plus, she made 3 different tops for me. The inverted bolero (concept of which I got from another couture, =) ), as you can see in the picture above, is just 1 of them. I'll post the other 2 tops which are both great!

I'm included in her website, btw. Cool!

My First Wedding Salad

Such a happy blog name!

I was contemplating on a title for a wedding blog. And 'Wedding Salad' is perfect for this kind of a blog. The way ideas, thoughts, pictures would keep on tossing in on this blog perfectly describes and embraces the name.

My ever first post would most likely be about my wedding.

I was so happily married last December 29, 2009. Ours was so enjoyable, serene, joyful, lovely in all its worth! It was a perfect day indeed!

I hope Wedding Salad would help in your own preparation for your very, very day. =)

GOD bless! =)
